Top Three Motion Picture Soundtracks
1. Clint Mansell - Requiem for a Dream (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture)
An absolutely gripping score, that manages to be appropriately dark and disturbing, as well as compulsively listenable. Clint Mansell showed, that he could compose for Hollywood in his debut score for Darren Aronofsky’s 1998 film “Pi”, which was this driving, thumping, angry, brutal electronica, that...

Fresh and clean.
So, GQ proposed starting clean in 2011. I know, every year we all say we want to start fresh. But in reality, you rarely do anything to actually make it clean and fresh. Long story short: my fresh start will consist of a new diet, manicure, regular work-out (good thing I have a fitness center membership now) and leaving all the dirty and nasty past in the past. Walgreens lady.
I love this cashier at Walgreens. First time she said I am too young to smoke, today she complimented on my Converse shoes and my sense of fashion. I think we can make good friends.

Albums
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Kanye West
If you told me a year ago, that I will be listening to Kanye West, meaning like all albums, not 3 songs - I would laugh in your face. No, Kanye is a...

2010. Places.
2010 was full of new (and old) places, that made me feel comfy enough to come back again.
Place of the Year
Viva La Coffee (Barnaul, Russia)
So many mornings, afternoons and late nights were spent there, so much money left in tips and so many people met at beautiful tables of Viva La Coffee. So much to say, oh my god. The only place, I actually learned all waitresses names and called them by...

The Year of 2010.
I look at all these people, that post in their blogs about best music, film, art, people in the past year. Well, you don’t have to ask me twice, I’ll do that too. Only, of course, in a quite different manner.
I do not look at the year as seeing what happened/got released/came out this exact year. To me, it’s more important what I liked/noticed/enjoyed/etc.
So, in the next...
